In this image we can enjoy the curvature of Basel Rhine under the snowy rain. I often walk along this river during the mornings. Sadly, these heavy snowy days have been a rarity during the past year. This was the only time I remember seeing this especially snowy landscape during 2016. I was waiting for this day to happen for a long time and did not want to miss it.
Basel is simply one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Around the Rhine lies architecture from past several centuries that remains well preserved after all these years. It looks even more stunning under the snow, which gives a powerful majestic feeling to this already romantic cityscape.
From here is possible to see the Minster Cathedral on the left side and the Middle Bridge and Johanniter Bridge in the horizon.
